“Do not remember the sins of my youth…” Psalm 25:7a
Psalm 25 is attributed to King David’s writing.

“…he got up and went out to a deserted place…” Mark 1:35b
Recently I got to go to Lake Shetek and stay at the Bible Camp (Shetek Ministries) for a couple nights with other pastors.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Psalm 111:10a
Almost all the English Bible translations I could find use the word “fear” in Psalm 111:10, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding.” There are a couple of modern translations that replace the word “fear” with “respect and obey” or “honor.” The word used in the original Hebrew יִרְאַ֬ת (yir’at), which is used almost always as “fear, reverence” but the root word in Hebrew is often used as “afraid.” Like when God is speaking to Isaac in Genesis 26:24.
