Our Season of Advent begins this next Sunday.

The Revised Common Lectionary gives us some verses from the book of Ezekiel only a few times a year.

Even though Christmas decorations appeared in the store the day after Halloween, hopefully you were able to celebrate Thanksgiving in some fashion – or at least were able to pause and be grateful.

How often do you think of your values and what they mean for your life?

I tried to talk myself out of writing about gratitude for November because I feel like I talk about it all the time and don’t want to get boring!

I recently was at an event with some clergy colleagues and at the end of the evening, one of them asked if we wanted to play a game called “Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza.” In the game all the cards are dealt out, and a card is placed in the middle, and regardless of what is on the card the first person says “taco”, the next person lays a card and says “cat”, all the way through goat, cheese, pizza.
