Deadline approaching for students to apply for new multi-district CEO program
Montevideo, Yel - low Medicine East and Lakeview School Dis - tricts have been work - ing together for the last couple of years to bring a new program to life for students. The Minnesota River Valley CEO pro - gram is now set to launch next school year, but needs students to apply by the March 1st dead line.

Fenske is a Semi-Finalist for the McDonald Award
The Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association recently announced that Lakeview Varsity basket - ball player Nathan Fenske is a semi-finalist for the McDonald Award. Forty student-athletes were se - lected for 2023.
LaVoy participates in All-State Choir
Congratulations to Grace LaVoy for being invited to participate as a Soprano in the 2022 Minnesota All State Choir. This is among the highest honors a high school musician can be awarded in our state. Fewer than one in five singers who audition are selected for participation.
Temps should be near average for the weekend
We had another interesting winter storm hit Minnesota late Sunday into Monday. This disturbance brought snow and freezing rain to parts of the state. Once again, it did create some travel difficulties to portions of the region.
