Meander Art Crawl offers hometown travel adventure
For the past 21 years, tourists and locals have been flocking to the Upper Minnesota River Valley for the first weekend in October to visit artist studios, farms and main street buildings from Ortonville to Granite Falls for a celebration known as the Meander Upper Minnesota River Art Crawl.

Accident causes fatality
On September 5, 2024, at approximately 4:06pm, the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of County Road 8 & 250th Avenue.A 1997 Ford F150 was being driven westbound on 250th Avenue by Robert Proctor (60) of Cottonwood.
