Scholarships available at Ridgewater for life-saving paramedic training
Ridgewater College is one of several colleges offering Minnesota residents scholarships up to $5,000 per individual to become licensed paramedics, thanks to a $3 million commitment from the 2023 Minnesota Legislature.Paramedics begin as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and then advance their skills to become paramedics.
Local student named to Valley City State dean’s list
Valley City State University has released its President’s Honor Roll, Dean’s Honor Roll and Honor Roll for fall 2023 semester.Local Students making the list are: Savanna Louwagie, Cottonwood, Presidents Honor Roll.The President’s Honor Roll recognizes students who completed 12 semester hours or more of VCSU classes for which grade points are earned with a 4.0 grade point average.
