While I’m still plowing through my most chaotic month of the year, I’ve come to the realization that sometimes happiness is really ten minutes in the sun with a cup of couee, away from all devices of contact. It can be pretty easy to find yourself over whelmed quite suddenly without realizing it’s happening. My moment came after a long weekend of photography work, with a full day of wedding photography followed by a day of photographing milestones for toddlers.

This time of year can always feel a little more challenging for me than other times of the year. From the last week of September through Christmas Day, I work a schedule that burns the candle at both ends between photography, the newspapers, and the boutique, and thus many of my relatives and friends have come to the realization that they’re just simply not going to hear from me much until the next year.

Cool and dry weekend on the way

We have been blessed in the weather department so far this fall! We have enjoyed some great temperatures across the state over the past several days! This weekend was fantastic to get out and enjoy all of the fall colors. We saw highs in the 60s for most of the region both days with lots of sunshine! Tuesday, was an absolutely incredible day for temperatures as highs climbed into the mid to upper 70s for much of the region. Some spots in southern Minnesota even witnessed the 80s! We did see a few showers and thunderstorms across the state as a cold-front pushed through late Tuesday.
