Laker softball falls to Wabasso

Boys golf takes top places at invitationals last week
On May 9th the Laker boy golf team hosted an invitational at home taking second place with a team score of 333. The team took second to BBE by only one stroke. On May 11th, the team traveled to Gran- ite Falls for the Yellow Medicine East Invitational, taking the first place position with a score of 155. Ethan Schwankl finished in sec - ond place with a score of 37 and Carson Boe finished in third place with a score of 37.

New record set for Track & Field
At the Lakeveiw Track and Field home meet last week, a new record was set. The boys 4x200 M Relay Team broke the school record with a time of 1:35.69. The previous record was 1:37.60. Team members: Greg Schafer, Clayton Kosel, Kyle Kurowski, & Garrett Schafer.

Lakers baseball team defeats LQPV
Last week, the Lakers boys varsity baseball team took on Lac qui Parle Valley for a 9-8 win. Laker golf team takes home wins
Last week, the Lakeview boys golf team won again at the Canby Invitational. They won with a score of 177.
Laker Track & Field team hosts first invitational
34. The boys team finished in fourth place with a score of 81.33.

Lakers take on YME, MCC
Last Tuesday, the Lakeview girls varsity softball team traveled to Granite Falls to take on YME in a dou ble-header. The team took a loss in both games.

Lakers defeat Ortonville
Last Monday, the Lakers varsity baseball team defeated Ortonville 4-2 with Ayden St. Pierre leading the game in pitching, while Jordan Fischer pitched two innings in relief and picked up the save.

Laker golf team takes first place at RTR invitational
Last week, the Lakeview varsity golf team played in the RTR Invitational, and at home. At the RTR Invitational, the boys varsity team took first place with a score of 173. Carson Boe also took first place with a 35 while Owen Louwagie took third place with a 41.
