Lakers defeat Dawson-Boyd
Last Monday evening, the Lakers girls varsity basketball team took on YME at home for a 58-71 loss. On Friday, the team took to the road to take on the Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks in Dawson for a 67-61 victory.
Laker boys defeat Minneota
Last Tuesday, the Lakers took on the Minneota Vikings for a 61-58 victory. On Thursday, they hosted the Canby Lancers for a second victory of the week, defeating the team 73-65. That evening, the boys basketball team also reclaimed the Jake Hanson Memorial Trophy.
Laker boys defeat TMB
Last week, the Laker boys varsity basketball team took on the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights for a 71-65 loss. The team went on later in the week to play at home against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton for a 79-50 victory.
