Lakers Football defeats RTR 42-6
With 479 yards total offense, the boys move to 2-0 in the season. Highlights of the game included a 46-yard touchdown pass from Owen Louwagie to Nathan Fenske, along with a 77-yard touchdown pass from Louwagie to Greg Schafer in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Owen Louwagie conquered a two-yard touchdown.

Lakers Volleyball defeats CMCS 3-1
The Lakers Volleyball team defeated Central Minnesota Christian in a home meet last Thursday. Scoring from that event follows: Lakeview (1-2) 25 12 25 26 CMCS (1-1) 21 25 23 24 Individual scoring was not made available.
Grouse season opens Saturday, Sept. 17th
Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Ruffed grouse and spruce grouse hunting season begins Saturday, Sept. 17, and lasts through Jan.

Lakers defeat Tigers 48-22
The Lakers took home a huge win in their first game of the season with a 48-22 victory over the Springfield Tigers Thursday evening. Leaders in the game included Owen Louwagie, a senior, who scored five touchdowns.

Laker volleyball team takes on Wabasso Rabbits
Last Tuesday, the Lakers Volleyball team took on the Wabasso Rabbits for a 1-3 loss. Leaders in that game included Olivia Hinz with thirteen kills, and Erin Meyer scoring the same.

Lakers place six runners in Cross Country meet
Last Monday, the Lakeview Lakers Cross Country team held a home meet with multiple schools traveling to Cottonwood to participate. The Lakers boys team placed six runners in their home tournament. The team overall placed fourth.
