The Cottonwood Fire department held their annual pork barbecue supper. Fire Chief Jeremy Dieken said the sales were up a little this Saturday over last year in spite of the heat. There were a lot more to-go meals this year, he said. They sold around 750 meals, with the proceeds to go toward firefighter gear like hoses and nozzles, he said. Photo by Jody Isaackson
