The Lakeview Spelling Bee took place on January 19, 2023. After 22 rounds and 147 words, Malakai Lanners, a 7th grader, came out with the victory. Brody Gregoire, an 8th grader, took second place, followed by Tucker Anderson, a 7th grader, in third place. Malakai will move on to the Regional Bee on February 7th in Redwood Falls.
